Free Shipping with Indoor Delivery

Shipping is the "hidden" cost most Flooring Retailers hope you overlook.  Why?  Because shipping flooring is really expensive. 

It is easy to advertise a low price per square foot for flooring but that price is actually meaningless until you calculate your freight costs and understand your true "delivered" price.  As with most things, the devil is in the details.

For all purchases over $500.00, Trinity Bamboo has one price - a Delivered Price.  There are no extra fees - ever.  What does our Delivered Price include?

  • Free Shipping to a Residential or Commercial address anywhere in the Lower 48 States
  • Indoor Delivery

The term "Indoor Delivery" is worthy of clarification.

Most trucking companies will arrive at your house, remove your flooring from the truck, and leave it on your curb or in your driveway - rain or shine.  You are then faced with the challenge of moving this material, box by box, into your house.  For perspective, 1000 square feet of flooring will weigh approximately 2600 pounds.  When was the last time any of us moved 2600 pounds of anything?

At Trinity Bamboo, we think you deserve a higher level of service.  Not only do we provide a delivered price for our flooring, that price includes Indoor Delivery.  Indoor Delivery service is as follows:

  • The driver will use a pallet jack to move the flooring from the truck to a garage or nearby ground-level room.  Any door through which the pallet jack will pass must have a minimum interior width greater than 40 inches to accommodate the width of a standard pallet.  Note: most residential doors range in width from 28 to 36 inches.  It is very important to have the site where the flooring will be delivered cleared and accessible in advance of delivery.  The delivery location/room should be dry and must be able to support the weight (up to 3590 pounds per pallet) of flooring. It is solely up to the customer to determine the suitability of the site into which the flooring will be delivered. 
  • Note: If the driver does not have a 40 inch door he/she can move the freight through then the driver will leave the shipment outside and it will be your responsibility to move the freight into a sheltered location.  Please don't hesitate to call Trinity Bamboo @ 1-888-248-6538 if you have questions about this.
  • Note: Accessory shipments do not include Indoor Delivery

What to do when your shipment arrives:

  • Match the Product Name on the end of the box to your Sales Order.  Note - if you don't see the Product Name printed on one end of the flooring box please check the other end.
  • Count the boxes - make sure you have everything you ordered. Remember - your accessories will arrive by UPS or FedEx Ground separately from your flooring shipment.
  • Look for damage.  A little wear and tear during shipment is normal.  If there is a noticeable damage, see the following section.
  • Celebrate.
  • What to do if there is a problem:

    Sometimes mistakes happen.  If your shipment arrives damaged, no worries, we'll make it right.  Please do the following:

    • Match the Product Name on the end of the box to your Sales Order. Note - if you don't see the Product Name printed on one end of the flooring box please check the other end.
    • Count the boxes - make sure you have everything you ordered. Remember - your accessories will arrive by UPS or FedEx Ground separately from your flooring shipment.

    IF THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF DAMAGE:

      • Carefully Document the damage:
        • MANDATORY: On the Bill of Lading (BOL), write a detailed description of the quantity, nature, and location of the damage.  Be very specific in your description.  Please write on the BOL "received with noticeable damage - will review for further inspection after removal from packaging".
        • MANDATORY: Take photographs showing all of the damage:
          • Close-up pictures
          • Perspective pictures (from a distance of 5')
        • Accept the shipment only once you have documented the damage on the BOL and taken photographs of the damage.

    IF THERE IS A LOT OF DAMAGE:

      • Refuse the Shipment
        • MANDATORY: On the Bill of Lading (BOL), write a detailed description of the quantity, nature, and location of the damage.  Be very specific in your description.
        • MANDATORY: Take photographs showing all of the damage:
          • Close-up pictures
          • Perspective pictures (from a distance of 5')
